With regard to the admission of graduates of other Departments of Universities (AEI) and Technological Educational Institutes (TEI) to the Department of Philosophy, as of the 2005–2006 academic year, the General Assembly (Decision no. 69/28-6-2005) unanimously decided to abolish admission based on degree grade. Admission is carried out through special entrance (transfer) examinations, with placement in either the 1st or the 3rd semester of studies in the Department (General Assembly Decision 135/25-4-2012), following successful examination in three courses, in accordance with Article 2 of Ministerial Decision no. Φ2/121871/Β3/3-11-2005.

Clarifications regarding the implementation of Article 78A of Law 4957/2022 (Government Gazette A΄ 141) concerning transfers to Departments or single-department Schools of Higher Education Institutions are provided in the relevant circular.

from November 1 to November 15, and the examinations are conducted in accordance with Ministerial Decision Φ.1/192329/Β3/13-12-2013 (Government Gazette 3185 B΄/16-12-2013), “Procedure for the transfer of graduates of Tertiary Education,” as amended by Decision no. 92983/Ζ1 (Government Gazette 1329 B΄/02-07-2015) and Law 4485/2017 (Article 74). The examination period takes place from December 1 to December 20 of each academic year.
