The Department of Philosophy offers the opportunity to conduct Postdoctoral Research in Philosophy to scholars who hold a Doctoral Degree. Interested applicants submit an application to the Department Secretariat in accordance with the prescribed template.

As stipulated by the relevant Regulations of the University of Crete, the Doctoral Degree must not have been awarded more than ten (10) years prior to the date of submission of the application.

The following required supporting documents must be attached to the application:

• Detailed Curriculum Vitae.
• Postdoctoral Research Proposal in accordance with the prescribed template.
• Copy of an undergraduate degree or diploma from a Greek Higher Education Institution (A.E.I.) or from equivalent, officially recognized institutions abroad.
• Copy of a postgraduate specialization degree from a Greek Higher Education Institution (A.E.I.) or from equivalent, officially recognized institutions abroad.
• Copy of a Doctoral Degree from a Greek Higher Education Institution (A.E.I.) or from equivalent, officially recognized institutions abroad.
• List of scientific publications/works completed.
• Letter of recommendation from a professor in Greece or abroad, or from a researcher at a recognized research center in Greece or abroad, who holds a doctoral degree.
