Instructions for activating an access account to the electronic services of the University of Crete.
The University of Crete offers all students a wide range of electronic services, accessible through a single institutional account upon their enrollment at the University.
Indicatively, services provided include:
- Αccess to computing systems
- Access to the wireless network
- Remote Access Service (VPN)
- Access to library services (printing, photocopying, institutional repository)
In addition, the University of Crete, in cooperation with GRNET (www.grnet.gr), provides the following services:
- “Diodos” ADSL Internet connection
- “Pithos” online storage space
- Access to course textbooks through “Eudoxοs”
- An academic system for the free provision of commercial software and services, “ANAFANDON”
- Access to Electronic Libraries
Please also note that students now receive their special transportation pass (PASO) after submitting an online application through a dedicated information system To activate and obtain the credentials for your personal account, visit the webpage myaccount.uoc.gr and use the following information:
- Department Registration Number
- University Registration Number
- Key Number
Access to all of the above services, as well as to many others not listed here, is provided through the use of a personal account: username and password.
Important: The above details are strictly for your personal use and can be used only once to activate your personal account.
