The Laboratory of Philosophical Research and Translation serves the research and teaching needs of Philosophy, in collaboration with research centers and academic institutions in Greece and abroad. It is housed in a specially designated space within the Department, is equipped with a specialized library and electronic equipment, and operates under the direction of Professor Chloi Balla, with the participation of eight faculty members of the Department, one member of Special Teaching Staff (EDIP), undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers.
The Laboratory was initially funded by the EPEAEK program and is currently financed through revenues generated from the implementation of research projects and through the Research Committee (ELKE) of the University of Crete.
